Clamming Explorience is happening now!

Clamming Explorience

Clamming Explorience in Lincoln City offers a free, hands-on adventure at the mudflats of Siletz Bay led by local experts. Participants will learn Oregon clamming regulations, harvesting methods, clam identification, cleaning, and cooking techniques before setting out to dig their own clams. Each licensed clammer can collect up to 72 Purple Varnish clams to take home. This engaging program happens on select Saturdays in September and October.

Biosphere Exploriences

The Cascade Head Biosphere Explorience is a free 90-minute guided walking tour through Oregon's only UNESCO Biosphere Region. Led by trained naturalists, participants will explore diverse coastal habitats, discover unique flora, fauna, and geology, and learn about groundbreaking conservation efforts along the Salmon River.  Meeting at Knight Park, this program provides an educational and immersive way to experience one of Oregon's most remarkable coastal landscapes.
